Let's Talk About Content Marketing

“Hey TK, what the f*ck is content marketing, anyway?”


Well… I’m glad you asked. 😏


Listen — I’ll start off by saying, I’m *not* one of those people who are like, “Traditional marketing is dead.” Because it’s just not true. 🙅🏽‍♀️


BUT, content marketing is absolutely part of the “traditional marketing mix,” in 2023. And it’s truly more important than ever to do a DAMN GOOD job with it.


The folks over at Content Marketing Institute defined it beautifully. Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.


TL;DR — content marketing = providing valuable content FIRST to nurture, grow, and build trust with your audience before jumping right into bed with ‘em.


If you’re a human who exists online (which, you must be if you’re reading this LOL), then you benefit from content marketing every freaking day. And have been for a longggg time now!


And if you’re a human who also happens to own a business, here’s why your content marketing efforts are uber important:

👉Increase brand awareness & loyalty

👉Educate your leads and prospects about the products and services you offer — and why they’re the bomb dot com

👉Create a sense of community around your brand #brandadvocates
